Petersen Mukubesa Mundia is a multi faceted man who needs very little (or no) introduction. He aptly describes himself thus; “l'm a Musician, a Politician, a husband and a father. I am Zambian Philosopher” but there is so much more to this young man who has decided to use his gifts as a medium to give a voice to the voiceless.
He is a dancehall artiste who recently released an 18 track album that has been strewn with conscious lyrics aimed at sparking a re-awakening of his fellow Zambians; sensitizing them to the everyday issues that plague their very existence. The new album aptly named Spartacus, is a call for all Zambians to raise their voices in unison and help create a new Zambia for themselves and their children.
This award winning singer, song writer and producer has always been vocal about the political situation in the country and used his music as the main medium of communication to challenge the politicians to focus on making the country a suitable place for all and sundry.
His attempt at becoming the Mayor of Lusaka hit a snag when he lost the race to the new mayor of Lusaka Hon. Miles Sampa; but this setback has only strengthened Petersen to reinforce his messages through his music and stay championing the cause of creating a greater and better Zambia for all.
